| i update my myspace pretty much daily, but xanga gets a bit less love, i'm sorry to say.
sorry xanga.
a lot has happened.
it doesn't look like i'll be taking japanese 6 next quarter. (soshite boku wa sugoi kanashii desu)
my schedule is so fucked up... i don't even know... my soc classes are going very well; i'm doing research right now on transgenerational attitudes about technology, which is pretty cool.
my love interest got married   ...
sociology of power and adolescents are awesome classes and i love them. i think i'm taking sociology of men and social history of california coast next quarter.
since i can't take japanese, i may take french also.
everything is moving along in real time.... i can't believe my last quarter is almost upon me. where the fuck does the time go? oh yeah, hours and hours of sleepless studying and working at two jobs....just a few more weeks to go though.
Jet program didn't want to hire me, so i'll be moving back to sonora till i get some more stuff figured out and finances in order. yay for the good times again.

| A new quarter has begun and my final year at UCSC. It is my birthday today. I'm 23. My 8am class wasn't too terrible after all. In fact I had a really good time. The professor I have has me nearly in tears pretty constantly from all her cynical and quick-witted remarks.
It's all so fast-paced and expensive though... I just spent another 140 dollars on more books... and I haven't even bought the reader yet... blah
Sorry I didn't update all summer. GOod to be back Amewica!

| Quarter's over and I got all A's! :) now the rest of my BA degree is all electives and Japanese class! Hell fuckin' yea dude!

there's not much to say at this point. i just can't wait for school to be over.

| So where did I leave you last Xanga? Meeting w/ Australian photographer
went well. He is really nice; but like I assumed, he just chided me on
being not tan enough and having my hair an ugly blonde and seemed very
concerned that I have big cut scars on both my arms....
other than that he may be interested still so we'll see. He did buy me coffee after all and we talked for an hour. So who knows.
In other news, I have been seeing alot of a latin boy these days...
since Bryan pretty much forgot I existed, I figure I owe it to
myself.... I just love boys that speak other languages... it's so hot
ANd about my research; I sent a LONG email to professor Guerra and she
sent me an equally long one back about the directions I need to go in
w/ it and what articles I need to look up. She is an amazing
professor and I feel less overwhelmed the more I talk to her about
it.... :) which means I'll be scheduling plenty of conferences.
But I've been so wrapped up in that class that I practically forgot I
have Japanese and Contemporary Theory to juggle too (not to mention
gospel choir!) :D hehe [i'm insane]
And lastly, tomorrow I get to finally declare my major. I've taken all
the fucking prerequisites and I have all my paperwork so there's
nothing those beaurocratic douch-bags can say to me this time and I
won't be kicked out my major declaration seminar again... grrrr I"ve
carried so much spite for a whole 10 weeks. Tomorrow it is laid to rest
and a new sociological future will begin.
